While the emergency room staff was nice, I was misdiagnosed. Had I not trusted my instincts and went to another doctor, there could have been more complications due to their mistake. I'm not sure if it was incompetence, laziness, or just an unwillingness to believe that patients know their own bodies more than anyone else, but I will never go there again. That was my first and last time at St. Mary's ER in Ironton!
I have been there twice and both times they did an amazing job! They get you in right away and the care is excellent. I'm happy this came to Ironton.
They misdiagnosed me but I'm giving them 2 stars for the speed of the ER and I actually saw a doctor instead of a nurse.
This place is awesome. The staff are some of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever encountered. I was taken in right away, seen by the Dr. got xrays diagnosed and was out in just over a hour.
I went there for back pain, they gave me a shot and sent me back to work too soon.
The gave me 5 days worth of medication and I wanted a couple days off to rest my back. I will not say I won't go back but very disappointed.
